Northpoint Charter School offers a variety of opportunities for students to socialize, compete, explore their passions, and have fun at the same time.
Athletics
Northpoint competes against other charter schools as part of the Albuquerque Charter School League. Our roster of sports changes each year depending on interest, so speak up if you’re interested in making a team!

Geek Squad
Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM - 5:00PM | Portable #1
Geek Squad is a chill, non-competitive hang-out for tabletop gamers and people who like to have fun. Snacks are provided, and a variety of games are available, from classic card games like Uno to new favorites like One Night Ultimate Werewolf. If you have a favorite game to share, let us know. If you’d rather hang back to watch before jumping in, that’s good too.
Student Council

Have you ever wanted to run for office? Start on campus with our Student Council. Elected officers help with fundraising for and promoting different activities around campus. They’re also responsible for planning and decorating for our student dances.
Robotics
Wednesdays @ 3:30 PM - 5:00PM | Portable #1
In the Robotics club, students will explore various applications of Artificial Intelligence. Join us and train a robotic vehicle to self navigate around a track of rope. Students will have the opportunity to race their AI car against other schools at the NMAIA (New Mexico Artificial Intelligence Academy) event.
Esports Club

Love video games? We do, too. Drop by Portable 1 every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. to practice and hang out with fellow gamers.
The Governor’s STEM Challenge
The Governor’s STEM Challenge is open to all students every year, with a cash prize for the winning team. If you’re passionate about science, love the challenge of tackling real-world problems with creative solutions, or just want a chance at the $500 cash prize, you’re welcome to come sign up with Mrs. Dixson to get involved!
Yearbook

Enjoy taking pictures, telling stories through photos, and staying up to date with the goings on around campus? Join the yearbook committee. This group is student-led and runs annually to assemble the yearbook each year.
