Professional Certifications
Program Details
Northpoint offers professional certification programs to currently enrolled students. Students work toward certifications in a self-guided program during Smart Lab, with support from teachers and education assistants. Most programs take one semester to complete.
Available programs include:
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and design software.
- MakerBot/Bambu 3D Printing: 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
- Southwest Airlines Professional Communications: Business-focused soft skills.
- UAS Remote Pilot (FAA Part 107 Training): Drone operator prep.
(Note: FAA Part 2 must be completed separately for licensure.)
These industry-recognized credentials can be listed on resumes, applications, and job materials. Programs that would typically cost hundreds are completely free for Northpoint students.
